INFORMATION TO HELP SELECT DIVISIONS
All – Age and Experience
Final age and experience divisions will be determined by the tournament committee, considering the actual enrollment in the tournament.

KATA
WUKF Modifications – You can only register in one kata division.
Kata divisions will be by separate category and not by style. We reserve the right to institute a style kata division, but if we do, you can only compete in one kata division of your choosing. Note: If enough youth competitors desire to compete in an additional kata division, we will consider it pending 1) there are enough competitors of a reasonable age grouping desire to do so, and each competitor pays an additional $10 fee on the spot for entry into this special additional event. Kata may be judged by a scorecard or flag system.

KUMITE
All kumite will be judged as sanbon shobu (ippon and wazari totaling 3 points or sanbon). This applies regardless of age. Length of match time may be extended at the event.
